A horror-musical decades before The Rocky Horror Picture Show, this 1940 film mixes music, mystery and mirth. Popular swing band leader Kay Kyser and his entourage get in the way of three co-conspirators (Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre and Bela Lugosi), who don't intend to let a young debutante collect her inheritance. Co-stars Dennis O'Keefe, Helen Parrish and Ish Kabibble.
The film was an Academy Award® nominee for Best Song -- "I'd Know You Anywhere."
